1 starThe salesman lie just to get your business. I was told I can cancel at any time with no penalty, another of many lies I was told. To cancel they charge $199 which was never disclosed. Do not hire them they are horrible to work with.Review fromEvan B

1 starI rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this pest control company was extremely disappointing and I feel other homeowners should be aware. We paid far more than what other local companies charge, expecting that the higher price would mean better quality service. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all.The technician showed up late and seemed rushed during the visit. The treatment itself felt incomplete, and when I walked around our home afterwards, I immediately noticed several large spider webs still hanging in corners and around windows. It was obvious that little to no effort had been made to address them. Within days, it became clear that nothing had really improved.I contacted customer service to explain the situation, and the response was not only unhelpful, but also dismissive. Instead of trying to make it right, they brushed off my concerns and acted as if it was unreasonable for me to expect a thorough jobespecially given the price we ******* the end of the day, we were left overcharged, with poor results, and zero accountability from the company. I regret choosing them and will absolutely be looking for another provider moving forward. 1 starThe salesman over promised and the service under delivered. We expressed to the salesman how the company we were with prior mistreated us (oversold and underdelivered, short notice before treatments, lack of adequate evidence of treatments, doesn't do a thorough job of providing treatments and doesn't stay long, constantly trying to get out of providing services we paid for, etc.). The salesman assured me that this company was different, and we'd be taken care of. We decided to give them a shot. However, in the short time we've had the service it has been nearly as bad as the prior service provider being guilty of the same things. Essentially no heads up prior to treatments (for which the salesman swore we'd have ample notice). There is very little evidence of treatments and they clearly are not treating my entire lawn as the salesman told us they would. The salesman claimed they had better reviews and customer satisfaction than we later found. We were told we were getting a deal at $84 a month. When we expressed to them that we wanted to cancel, they offered to drop the monthly charge to around $45 a month which is so insulting knowing that they'd still be making money off me at about half the rate. This appears to me to be a dishonest company looking for an opportunity to grab your money and hold you hostage with a hefty cancellation fee. While it didn't matter, the salesman also told us that this cancellation fee only applied to the first 12 months while I found out over the phone it was 24 months. We cancelled well before 12 months, but I still found it amusing how I was lied too once again. After we expressed our frustration with the company and asking for a release from the contract which we believe was not executed as presented, they refused to waive the cancellation fee. Never trust a salesman, especially in an unsolicited high pressure situation, and certainly not from this company. No integrity. Just looking to take advantage.Review fromCasey W

1 starAbsolutely do not use this company. They are dishonest and do not honor their contract. I regret not doing more research before signing. Not only does their product fail to work, but their monthly charges end up being more expensive than competitors who offer quarterly service.The final straw was when a technician showed up at 7 PM, after I had waited all day, only to tell me he had no product to service my home. I had already complained just two days earlier about increased spider and wasp activity (pests they specifically assured me would be covered when I signed up). They also claimed their technicians spend a minimum of 30 minutes at each house, yet during the last service, the tech was gone in under 5 minutes. I honestly dont know if he even applied any treatment, he just snapped a few photos as proof.This company misrepresents its services and provides little to no value. Stay far away. On top of it trying to charge me a cancelation fee, even thought they are the ones that didn't hold up to their contract! Such SCAM!Aptive Environmental, LLC

1 starIf I could I would give them a 0. The company only came out one time despite being charged for multiple treatments. The one time that they came out some of the plants and bushes were burnt from the chemical. Not only was my landscaping damaged but it didnt solve any mosquito issues. When I called to cancel I was told that I would be charged $199 to cancel outside of the contract agreement. I couldnt be more unhappy with a company. I would rather pay that than continue to use a company that is unprofessional, inconsistent and misleading. 1 starI have tried to cancel this service because they have charged me for 4 visits and serviced me twice. Every time I call to cancel they fight me on doing this. I have been hung up on and lied to. This company isn't worth what they offer. When they did service, the insects were never affected by their products. I have been trying to cancel for 2 months. Still have an open account. 1 starThank GOD I found this site before my husband nearly got us caught up with these scam artists! The sales pitch he was given was that it would be $50 for a same day treatment and $110 a month there after. I figured there would be a catch and thank goodness I see I was right. The even worse part - I had to explicitly say I need you to leave 3 TIMES before this college kid on a Segway finally left. I was THIS close to calling the police! And this was after he illegally came onto our property with a clearly marked No Soliciting sign. Their sales people break the law with no regard!Aptive Environmental, LLC
