      Hello,On March 24th, 2023, I had a procedure done at Sono Bello. I have Lipo done in my Belly Area, Under Arm and Waist and then a Skin Removal. I paid about $11,000 for the procedure. A day before the procedure, I met with the Surgeon for Pre-op visit. She examined me and said I have a hernia but I have nothing to worry about that my procedure will come out right. She did the procedure and within the first 6month, I was not satisfied. My belly area was poking out and I reported it to their manager. She stated I will have to come in for for another operation after a year to be fully healed to correct the area but I will have to fix the Hernia. I do not want to go through another surgery because they should have informed me that I will need to fix the Hernia before the procedure but I was told it will come out right. Currently at 8 month Post-Op and I look like I am 6 Months pregnant. I went to Sono Bello because I did not have any confidence and now, it is even worse than it was when I went in. I have been SCAMMED and I will like to be refunded because the result I was promised is not what I got, unfortunately and i do not trust them to fix it. I am not going to put my body through another procedure when it could have been done right the first time.Sono Bello is all about making money at this point and not delivering. I will

      On November 17, 2023, I met with a SonoBello sales person by the name of ***************** for an initial consultation. At this consultation, ***************** assessed my problem areas by performing a hands on demonstration to me of what areas and amount of trouble areas could be removed by the SonoBello treatment. She pinched my stomach in several areas and informed me that "we can remove all of the subcutaneous fat that she was pinching". Three days later, I followed up with ***************** by email to confirm and clarify that the area she assessed during my consultation for removal would be removed in a single procedure. She responded "Yes". I was also told that I would have an opportunity to cancel my services at the time of the pre-op consultation. I paid this company in full to take advantage of a discount provided ($6805 which includes a $2495 surgical fee). My pre-op consultation took place on December 5th where the surgeon assigned to my case performed a very different examination of my trouble area than *****************. The doctor asked me to **** in my stomach and then informed me of what he could safely remove. There was ***** discrepancy between what ***************** assured me could/would happen and what the doctor actually confirmed was possible. Because of this huge discrepancy, on December 6th I decided that I did not want to move forward with this procedure and notified SonoBello. I was contacted directly by ***************** and told that I would forfeit the $2495 surgical fee and only be refunded the difference because I agreed in the contract. I explained that I felt misinformed and misled about what I could actually expect of the service given she performed a very different assessment than the doctor and sold me on her performance/assessment just to get me to sign the contract. This sales tactic shows a gross lack of integrity on the part of this company.

      I requested a refund of my money paid for services not rendered. I paid cash and scheduled a surgical procedure ABEX for 10/31/2023 at the ******* Guasti CA Office. I was informed at the initial consultation that I would receive a refund if I was medically unable to have the procedure. I was unable and advised that I could not medically proceed with the procedure by my ******* Care Provider (PCP) with the attending surgeon (**********************) confirmation. I provided documentation from my PCP. I was informed that I would receive a refund on my monies in 2-3 weeks by ******, ********** office. I contacted ****** 12/4/23 and my refund was not processed yet stating she had not received any information.

      On 3/23/23, I had a consultation with ****** at Sono Bello in *******, **. I wound up paying $4,657.56 after getting $1500 discounted even though I saw the price advertised online for $2500. My surgery was set for 5/15/23, I arrived at 6:00am with my wife who was my driver and caregiver. Sadly, the first red flag was the nurses who opened the facility arrived late. My surgery went well and a week later I had my first post procedure visit. I was told after a week you should not have any pain but there was plenty of pain for about 3 months, swelling and fluid retention continued for 2 months after that. At my 3 month appointment I told the nurse about the pain and the abnormal appearance on the right side, there was still a large f**** pack shaped layer of fat left on the area and I had a round spot closer to the middle of my stomach that continually had a stabbing pain. I was told to massage it harder but the results will *********** months to be where they should be, just see the DR at the 6 month visit. I developed a lot of bruising because of massaging harder and set up an appointment to see the Dr. but had to cancel when I became ill and realized that nothing will be addressed until the 6 month visit. At my 6 month visit on 11/7 the DR. was not there and I had to schedule another appointment for 11/10. During my last appointment, ******* a nurse at the facility examined the area and said this might be your hip. Like ******* says "Hips don't Lie" but it was my waist. The Dr. came in grimaced at the results and said the left needed more removed and made me circle the area the right and concurred it needed revision surgery. He suggested Venus ********* but later I realized this was an upcharge when the revision is a free procedure to correct their mistakes. My revision was contingent upon corporate review and was approved after I had to call almost 4 weeks later. Now I am forced to accept June **** as the surgery month which is unacceptable, adding 1 year to my ordeal.

      Sorry to add more to this but at the end of my appointment on Nov.10th, ******* told me it would take about 2 weeks for corporate to approve the revision surgery. I called the office on Dec.4th to inquire about the status of my approval. This was 24 days after the last visit. I talked to a receptionist, I think her name was ******, when I asked about the status she said "I don't know, we have to wait for them to call." That would have been the extent of her help if I would have not asked to speak to the person they were getting their approval from when I was there on Nov.10th. She told me that person was **** (*********************), the assistant practice manager. She said she would take a message and ask him to call me when he was available. He did not call, he emailed me and I saw the email the next morning when I was at a vets office in ****, **. This frustrated me because the email basically said oh yeah you were approved and you should call fast to get your appoinment for June ****. I am still frustrated, stressed and depressed at the disregard that was shown by this. Why didn't they reach out to schedule my revision or have the decency to inform me that I was approved. Because I declined their upcharge procedure, now they are working on stall tactics with no regard for my time or health. How is a random month just arbitrarily offered? This procedure requires extensive recovery, no running, walking for 10 minutes every two hours, lifting restictions and 6 months of follow-up visits. I emailed **** back and he noted my frustration on his reply. His reply also dropped the problem into ******************************* lap, the actual practice manager. I called the office back yesterday, Dec. 5th and spoke to ******, she tried to get ***** to respond but apparently every time I call there are day long meetings. ****** said ***** would respond back to me later but it is now Dec.6th 2:35PM and no one has called back. I am 100% unsatisfied with my treatment, would never recommend Sono Bello to anyone and will gladly forward any email I received to BBB. Thank you.

      Hello, I spoke with Practice Manager ****** and we have tentatively agreed upon another surgeon viewing the area of my body on January 16th, **** and pending her approval or desire to perform the revision procedure, then we will set a date for surgery in February. This is not set in stone and if for some reason this does not go forward I will expect a full refund due to a botched or incomplete procedure or an immediate change to another procedure such as, cool sculpting at NO COST, to complete this ordeal. Let me just say AGAIN I am not paying for anything else or expect to be up charged or prodded into any other treatment unless it is completely FREE. The mistake was acknowledged by **************, so have the fortitude to stand behind your own policies and fix this promptly. I was patient, but still, I was ignored and disregarded for a week. Only when I filed this BBB complaint and called another Sono Bello number on 12/8/23 asking to speak with a Regional Manager, that was when my pleas were finally acknowledged. I paid for my procedure and within a month and a half I had the first procedure, I expect the same timeframe for the revision. Anything less is incompetence or indifference, but either way this should not be tolerated by the staff at the facility or the corporation that runs it. Also, I am a man not a Ms. or her and no one ever contacted me I had to do all the calling!

      Hello, this has not been resolved yet and I never said it was resolved. It will be resolved when my next appointment on 1/16/2024 is completed and the Dr. agrees to do the revision procedure. This is not agreed upon yet, it is always pending some unknown factor that pops up when they see fit. Still not sure why this is considered resolved when Sono Bello has not done anything to rectify the situation yet.

      On October 25, 2023, I called to cancel my procedure as my anxiety was not we'll. I was informed a refund check of $2505 out of the $5000 to be mailed at beginning of November 2023. After not receiving, I was told a check was mailed November 17, 2023. To date, I still havent received a refund check. This company does not represent good customer service when parties decide to cancel services provided, therefore I will not recommend their service nor will use theirs should I decide to have the type of similar services in future. I want all my deposited money back ASAP!

      On 11/16/23 ***** from Sonobello ****** ************* office took a credit card deposit from me to schedule upper and lower stomach and side liposuction. On 11/20/23 during my pre-op appointment, Surgeon ************** said that I was not a good candidate and he cancelled surgery which was scheduled for the following day 11/21/23. Before leaving Sonobello's office on 11/20/23, I was told that a full refund will be issued to me. I sent emails to ***** on 11/20 and 11/22/23 inquiring about my refund. ***** contacted me on 11/22 and stated that I will receive a refund in about 7 business days. Today is 12/1/23 and no money was refunded to me while interest is accruing on my credit card. ***************************** email - ********************************** I appreciate your help in securing a prompt refund of my money from Sonobello.

      I went to this facility and was going to have the procedure done but found out later that I would not be able to receive what I was promise. I spoke with the consultant and was told that my money would be refunded back to my credit card that day. After coming back from my vacation, I realize that it was two weeks later, and my refund wasn't placed on my credit card. I filed a dispute and was refund the credit, later they called me and stated that I had to pay them $2450.00 for a consultation, which was free. I cancel the surgery because they could not provide what I needed and who with good sense will pay $2450. and the surgery was $6500.00, which is almost half of the price of the surgery. Please be careful with the company because there are dishonest people who work there.

      This claim is strictly for Sono Bello at **************************************************************************** .When you go in, you don't see a nurse or a medical professional, just a sales person named Summer. I kept asking about recovery time she said only 2-3 days of soreness. Which is not true.Told her I will go to gym 4 days after the tentative procedure and then on a cruise 10 days later. She did not say I would need 6 weeks no lifting more than 7 lbs which I found out when I went for *** op meeting with nurse **** and doctor. They said no gym -2 weeks and no core/lifting for 6 weeks. So how do I carry a 15 lb backpack 10 days after the procedure? Impossible!If this information been disclosed up front during the consult, I would never have signed any documents. But I was misled by ****** who told me that this was a minimal procedure with 3 days of soreness- which is absolutely incorrect and not true!They charged my card on 11/13/23 for the surgical fee $2500 -not even the amount listed on the contract ($2495), and on 11/15/23 ( CA 3 day right of rescission) I met with doctor and decided it was not for me. You also aren't scheduled to see doctor until you pay that deposit, then if you see the doctor then you forfeit your deposit. A crazy loop where you can't get accurate information without being gouged for a surgical fee.. It feels like a money grab with no regard for ethical business practices.The issue is the doctor really needs to see to make an informed decision. If you decide not to get the procedure done, how can there be a fee for future surgery charged?I agree to pay $495.00 for the doctor *** operative appointment listed on the financial doc. but will not pay for a surgery I will not have, based on the facts I got from the *** operative appointment with the medical staff.I am requesting $2005 to be refunded immediately back to my card.Sono Bello has all my documentation and hope this is resolved soon without taking this matter further.

      I would like to withdraw my complaint against ********** as we have reached a quick and  full resolution to this issue.
      I heard from a manager at Sono Bella first thing this morning and she confirmed they would refund the entire amount that was charged to my account.
      Their speed and diligence in correcting their error was very impressive and I am very satisfied with this resolution and have no further issue with Sono ******

      Profit over health risks. On 11/02/2023 I had an office consultation with ***** at Sono Bello. I scheduled a procedure date and gave a large deposit. I then met with the Dr. and had my blood pressure taken. My reading was 166/95 which is considered stage 2 hypertension and high risk. I was told I could possibly have an underlying condition. I would be turned away the day of the procedure with high blood because if I had the procedure I could end up being taken to the hospital by ambulance. I had noted in the paperwork that I had COPD and was told this was a pneumonia risk. I had never had high blood pressure before. I was advised to monitor my blood pressure which I did and it remained high. I thought about the cocktail of drugs I would be given to be put into a drugged stupor to undergo the procedure and did not know with COPD if this could cause me respiratory distress. The week before I was scheduled I called to cancel due to my health issues. I was told by ***** that because I saw the Dr. that my $6000. deposit was non-refundable. Ironically seeing the Dr. is how I found out about my high blood pressure and COPD pneumonia risk. ***** not being an MD dismissed my concerns as pre-op jitters and I would be just fine. I could take a pill for the high blood pressure and not to be concerned about the pneumonia risk the Dr. was just being cautious. Bottom line if you don't move forward with the procedure we are keeping your $6000. This is a very expensive consultation fee! Do the right thing Sono Bello and refund my entire $6000. because ethically this is just wrong this is a medical procedure and there is no pill to fix my COPD and I'm not willing to take the health risk.

      On August 29th of this year, I supposedly had laser Lipo on my upper abs, upper back, inner thighs, arms, waist, and chin. I spent over $11, 000 with this company, and I look worse than I initially did. The only area that looks treated is my chin somewhat. I requested to speak with the consultant (******) after my first post-op appointment, and was brushed off. I was told she was busy on a call and what get right back with me. Two and a half months have passed and I have yet to receive that call??? I want to know what went so terribly wrong? Why didnt I achieve the results I was promised after doing everything right. (I was told for optimal results). I was fast talked into this procedure 2 weeks before surgery. Im left with more lumps than be before and scarring. This has caused me to be more depressed with an increase dosage of a prior medication. I feel that Im owed a full refund from this company. I could have had invasive Lipo for the **** Sonobello has put me through. I didnt even receive a garment that fit in the mail, which was calculated into the package. I highly encourage anybody seeking their services to do your homework or youll be deformed and out of thousands. I wish I had never seen the commercial and sought an in-person inquiry. Im so heartbroken and devastated.
