When you go in you dont see a nurse or a medical professional. They request you pay a $1000 deposit immediately or ********** will change. You also arent scheduled to see the doctor until you pay that deposit. If see the doctor then you forfeit your deposit. The issue is the doctor is who you really need to see so you can make an informed decision. If you decided not to get the procedure done then you should get at least 75% of your deposit back. No doctor ******* is $1000.Business Response

5/11/2023- I paid a deposit of $3000 for Lipo suction and AbEx procedure. Pre-op was scheduled for 6/7/2023. Surgery was scheduled for 6/20/2023. On 6/6/2023 I cancelled my surgery because I was a high risk patient and not approved by primary care physicians. On this day my refund request was submitted by a patient care associate, *******************************. On 6/9/2023 my full refund was approved by their corporate office in Washington and would be mailed to me as a check, per *******************************. As of today, 7/18/2023 I have not received my refund. I have contacted ******************************* (Pt. Care Associate at ************* location) via email and phone for the status and all I get is, "I am sorry it takes a long time." I paid this deposit with a credit card. Why can't they refund my credit card immediately? When I asked this question, ********, says she has no control of how they pay this. I should have had my refund in full by now.Customer Answer

Hello,
I am writing to let you know that I just now received in the mail my full refund from Sono Bello. It is in check form for the amount of $3,000. It took way longer than it should have. The envelope was postmarked 7/14/2023 and the check is dated 7/14/2023.. I cancelled my appointment on 6/6/2023. But hey, I now have my refund. Even though I now have my refund, my complaint is that it took so long. I can't help but wonder that if I wouldn't have kept pushing to get my refund that it would've been forgotten. Thank you for your help and forwarding my complaint as well.

On June of 2022, I went to lipsosuction surgery with Sono bello. I have my waist, upper and lower abdomen done. The lady who I spoke with during the time of consultation told me that in case I am not satisfied with the results, I can always request for a repair or redoing the surgery but that will be 6 months after. She also told me that I should be seeing results 6 months and more. It has been more than 1 year but nothing has changed. My weight is still the same and the desired contour ***** be seen either. I called their clinis numerous times but I always ended up being on a wait list. When I finally was able to speak with someone, she told me that the nurse will email me to schedule an online appointment so we can discuss about my situation. It has been more than 2 weeks since I made the contact but no emails nor calls from Sono bello. I paid less than $9,000 for this surgery and got nothing.Business Response

Our Satisfaction Commitment which **************** mentions in her complaint and which she signed at her consultation states "We understand that no physician can specifically predict or guarantee the final results with cosmetic procedures. Despite the skilled work of our surgeon and a successful procedure that provides a cosmetic improvement, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and dissatisfaction can still occur. Should you find your results to be unsatisfactory, your surgeon would like the opportunity to evaluate your results. If your surgeon's evaluation determines your results to be deficient, we will touch up the area at no cost to you." We reached out to **************** but were unsuccessful in reaching her. Our Assistant Practice Manager also sent her an email to address any concerns she has, we ask that she please reach out to her. We look forward to seeing her in our center again.

Hi. I spoke with one of the staffs of Sono Bello and we agreed on having a consultation next week. Im not sure of how we will proceed with this coz I dont want to redo the process again. I told the staff about it but she still want me to go back to the clinic.

I went to Sono Bello to get my stomach reduced and was told that I needed to put a $500 deposit and pay $5,900 up front so that's what I did and I did it in a cashier's check not on my **** card. Well when I went in they couldn't put an IV in me the first day so I came back another day and they still couldn't put an IV in me. The doctor even tried my neck and could not get it in me. Then they said they would refund me, well that was last month. They told me that I would have my refund between the first and the 10th of the month and there's no money here. I have not gotten refunded but they keep telling me they processed it. they've processed it, they processed it. Well why won't they mail the check, you know. I'm just really disappointed with this company.Business Response

Went to Sono Bello in ******* on falls of the Neuse road on June 30. Had my preop done a total charge of $10,989 was immediately taken from my checking account. Surgery was scheduled for July 6 @1000. While waiting I changed my mind I called on July 4 and 5th. I spoke with ****** on July 5th about my refund she said she would contact corporate and find out about my refund and I should receive a email with all the information in it I have not heard from corporate I have been send emails to Sono Bello nobody has responded I just got off the phone with staff at Sono Bello #*** **** Falls of the Neuse Road she said it will take approximately 30 days to get a refund and corporate does not send emails out with any information so who is telling the truth here 30 days is a long time for a refund when they get their money in 5 minutes from your bank .Im not understanding this I just want to know if theres anyway that you might be able to help me with this I just just dont feel this is right $11,000 is a lot of money theres no reason it should take 30 days to put this back in my bank accountI am very displeased with this situation.Business Response

I had a consolation on June 23, 2023 with *******. She got me all excited about my body again.. I paid ******* that day and was supposed to pay the balance on Monday.. but over the weekend my life changed.. my husband of 18 years left me , changed his phone number and froze all our money.. he left me with 0 to live on.. I still have not heard from him yet so on June 26 I contacted ***************************** at the ********** location on explained my situation to her 3 days and my life was turned upside down.. she was nice on the phone but didnt want to refund my money. She wanted to give me some kind of credit until I saw if my husband came back.. I said No I didnt know when or if I will ever be able to pay for the procedure I dont work due to a car wreck I was in 5 years ago. I totally depend on my husband to support me.. I have called several times and she is always busy or not available.. I also talked to ******* and told him I needed the form emailed to me so I could get a refund.. then she emailed me what I requested but I didnt sign it because it was incorrect she put down that it was 6 to 12 days so I would only be reimbursed 1/2 of my money.. she had also marked out my reason for the cancellation.. and wrote something else in place of it Im not trying to be difficult. * The date of the transaction June 1, 2023. * The amount $6,555.00 *I was going to have Laser Lipo Procedure on June 26.The procedure was to remove fat from the upper back, upper and lower abdomen and waist. Due to the fact that I was told that the upper back part of body would leave skin hanging, ****************** told me that Sonobello does not remove handling skin. And, I would have to go someplace else for the skin remover. So I decided to just have the waist and abdomen fat removed. However, due to medical issues, which I was informed by my Cardiologist, I was told not to have the procedure. (June 14th) Sonobello came up with another procedure--*****Legacy ************************Lipo Surgery. This procedure doesn't give me the same result as Lipo. It's for healing after Lipo. This *****Legacy was ofter because they don't want to refund my money. So, Sonobello informed me today that I would be charged the same $6,555.00. I have tried one session and I'm willing to pay for that session. But not $6,555.00 for 18 sessions. When I was told about this ***** I didn't realize that it would cost me my $6,555 for them to incorporate multi-polar radio frequency and magnetic pulse fields in the tissue of the patient skin for tightening, and cellulite reduction without the effect of fat loss. After finaling out Wednesday, 7/5 from Sonobello that this procedure wouldn't remove the fat. I was told that they would not honor the Cardiologist's letter. Dr entered the procedure room. Said let's get started. She was jabbing a needle into my body while i was laying on the table. I guess anesthesia? I said owe a few times she said this is the worst part. I felt the entire procedure. The metal tube being jabbed into and pulled out of my body. She knew I was in pain. She was getting frustrated with me saying you have to keep your legs down! Or I can hit vital organs! Then she went back at it with the tool. I was in shock, in pain she didn't stop to adjust anything. I was set up for an IV drip, I didn't get one. She finally asked me where my pain level. I said 10!! She was sarcastic and said well, if its a 10, Legally I have to stop. I didn't know what to do. I thought she was going to fix the anesthesia. She didn't. She kept going without it. After awhile longer she stopped. Said well I got a quart of fat. Told the nurse, clean her up. Then while.she was walking out the door she said I guess that's what happens when you have a low pain tolerance. We should have known. And walked out. I've been in pain, I complained to them, they won't give me a refund but offered to have a different dr " because her contract is up" finish the procedure. After that torture session? Im terrified!! I've been in pain on my left ribcage. I want a full refund and my Medical bills reimbursed. My personal dr told me she wanted me to get a CT scan, she was concerned after looking me over. this is costing me about $2,000 on top of sosnobello charged and financed charges and interest. For a procedure that was torture, cold uncaring dr who treated me like it was a animal in a ******* house, no anesthesia! And after all this pain the only results are scars and lage bills. I'm going to talknto an attorney if this doesn't get fixed. I have so many scars. I told them I wanted something no evasive. I was told most people sleep through this. Why did she do this? Unfortunately, with procedure under local anesthesia (awake procedures) we are unable to predict how a person will react during a procedure. The majority of our patients comfortable during our procedure. In March 2023 I had a consult for stomach and thigh reduction. I met with ***** **********, ******************* Consultant, along with my boyfriend, *******************. ***** was pleasant and reassuring that the results I sought were possible using TriScuplt. I was very clear that I did not desire any form of skin cutting/surgical procedures or stitches. In addition to the stomach procedure, I inquired about additional procedures on my inner thighs. I was assured this could be done at a later date. She was comforting and included thorough information regarding the procedure(s). Pricing was discussed as well as scheduling. There was no talk of a specific doctor handling the procedure. I talked with *** and we felt comfortable enough to complete the upfront payment and schedule a pre-op with a doctor. It was not until we actually were assigned a surgeon that the quality of SonoBello's operations came more clear. We were scheduled to meet with a *****************. This particular doctor was reprimanded by the ******************* on account of a patient's death. We discussed and researched this doctor and went forward with the pre-op. While waiting in a small, cold, unfinished room for him, a nurse went over post op procedures including choosing compression garments...not discussed by ********************************* blew in the room with zero intro to *** who would be involved as my support. He was ****, rude and never alluded to anything discussed in our consult. He dismissed my cerebral palsy condition, asking what did that mean? He also dismissed my *********. His use of an aggressive cutting motion with his fingers adding more to the surgery than was discussed at the consult. This made the entire experience terrifying. No doc I know charges a $2495 fee for a scheduling fee, not even my surgeon who did my spinal fusion. I work in healthcare, and have never experienced anything so alarming and demeaning. I'd never trust him with any care, not even the flu.Business Response
