      I paid for sono bello for 5 areas at the ******* My patient care consultant was ***********************, she is very pleasant and convinced me to prepay for services in advance to save money. My surgeries were scheduled in 2 week increments (upper abdomen, lower abdomen, waist) were done first. The remaining surgeries were scheduled (front and back thighs, and arms). The surgeries for upper and lower abdomen, waist and back of my thighs were done. During the thigh surgery the doctor was supposed to do both the front and back and he decided that he couldnt do my front thighs. He did not tell me this before I went under and I was in pain the entire time and he ignored it. He stated that I would need to come back for the front thigh surgery and this was not going to be possible because my timeline was stated before the surgery and I was not going to be well for my birthday party, they knew this before hand that was why we scheduled the surgeries every two weeks. He was also supposed to do my arms and told m me that he couldnt do them because the skin would sag. This was not what ******* told me during the consult when I paid in full. I requested the refund for the doctor refusing to do my two surgeries because I paid for services, was told what they were going to do and they didnt complete it. I contacted ******* and she has made no attempt to respond and I am getting the run around. This has been a horrible experience and I want my money refunded for the services they chose to not perform within the timeframe. The doctor refusing to do the surgery is the reason they werent complete.

      I had a revision performed on May 18th and it's taken me a while to process what happened.I literally felt everything. Imagine laying on a table and you have a device going in and out of your skin sucking and separating what's inside and it feels like it's about to break through you..it was the most excruciating thing I have ever felt. My body was shaking on the table and I remember that I kept asking the doctor to stop. At one point, I remember trying to console myself while I was on the table with breathing but the pain was too much. I wanted to scream but I couldn't, it's like if my body went into shock.For a few nights I would wake up in the middle of the night with the thought of me shaking in pain on the table, I couldn't believe what happened. Two days after my procedure I went to the office to ask for my medical record which I was first told by the receptionist that they are legal documents and I cannot have access to them, then the nurse told me that the file was sent to corporate and I would have to request them.I wanted to see the notes, I wanted to see what happened. I spoke to the doctor and the nurse and I was literally crying in the office still shaken up from the surgery. They basically attempted to pacify me and sent me on my way. I never heard from any of them again. About a week later I called again for my medical records and the girl who answered the phone seemed annoyed with my request. Since then, I have not had any follow up by sonobello in regards to this.

Unfortunately, with an awake procedure like ours we are unable to predict the pain level a patient will experience. Most of of our patients are fairly comfortable during their procedure there are cases where we cannot get a patient as comfortable as we would like. This is specially true when we are having to go through scar tissue from a previous procedure. 

      Our center has been trying to contact ********************** to inform her that her medical records are ready to be picked up but we have been unable to connect with her. We encourage her to contact our center to schedule her follow up appointment and to pick up her records.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I was notified to pick up the records right after I submitted this complaint, not beforehand. I shouldve received them when I first asked for them. 

      Also, I understand that there may be a little discomfort in a procedure such as this. But when I am begging the doctor to stop and she does not stop, when I am shaking on the table asking her to stop and in pain feeling as if the device is about to poke out of my skin, she shouldve stopped.

      When I spoke to her that Saturday I stopped by the office unannounced, she acknowledged that I kept asking her to stop because I was in pain and shaking and she did not. She also had the audacity to say that I should come down to her practice to get the rest of the work I wanted done since its not in the scope of what Sonobello does.

      I understand that day they started my procedure late and perhaps she was ******* and did not want to stop, I dont know. But I do not accept this response and will proceed to go further with my complaint especially since Sonobello seems to disregard it.

      In response to your request for clarification on a desired outcome, after much consideration I would like a full refund. *** back and forth between Sonobello and I, the current results I have and everything I have gone through since the last revision has not been worth the amount of money paid.

      I also request Sonobello to review their current hiring and onboarding practices. I have been in communication with **************, Director of Customer Experience regarding my experience and practices by doctors and sales rep. *** sales rep I initially encountered, I had also encountered at Ideal Image where she over sold me on a package there, and I feel like she oversold me on my package with sonobello. Also, 2 of the 3 doctors I have had procedures done with have also tried to recruit me to their practices for corrective work on the procedures they have already touched. It doesn't make any sense to me.

As stated in our consents, pain levels vary with awake procedures and we are unable to predict how a patient will react. There are many factors that affect how a patient metabolizes pain medication. Also, stated in our consents is that we do not offer post procedure refunds under any circumstances. We do not compensate for the amount of discomfort someone experienced with the procedure. We encourage ********************** to reestablish communication with our Director of Patient Experience, **************, she has not been successful in reaching **********************. ************** has offered alternate resolutions and is waiting to hear from **********************.       I am rejecting this response because:

      The last time time ************** reached out to me was on 8/22/23, she called me while I was at work and left a voicemail. I returned her call the same day and left her a voicemail. Prior to that, I havent heard from her in almost a month, last time we spoke if I am not mistaken, was in July.

      I am not happy with my results, for the almost $20,000 I have spent with Sonobello, I couldve achieved my dream body elsewhere. I am not satisfied with the level of service either. I have told ************** also, that in my experience, some of the doctors have chosen to not perform their duties to their full ability within the scope of what Sonobello offers, in order to feed them into their own private practice. Moving along,  most importantly, Sonobello, seems to disregard what I went through on that table. I understand you can feel discomfort during the procedure, I have felt it before. This was something totally different. This was excruciating. I was convulsing on the table, I felt as if the tool they use for the lipo was going to rip through my skin. I am a bit better now, but for over two months, I had to speak to  a spiritual counselor 2-3 to help me process this. Now I only speak to this person, once a week.  I went through so many levels of emotions. I have seeked legal advice but because this event wasnt catastrophic, I was told by the attorney they couldnt help me. However, I was advised to report Sonobello and their doctors to the ******* licensing board. I am still weighing my options.

      I paid $12,000 for plastic surgery procedures performed 4/7/23. My results were poor and in certain areas left me looking worse than when I went in. This organization conducts regular fraudulent advertising. "Same day results" . Post surgery they start telling patient's they'll have have to wait a year for all of the healing to take place and then you might see results. They refuse to have an actual doctor or surgeon attend follow up appointments. They have a process tactic of delaying patients for 3 months at a time and then begin telling the patient they gained weight and didn't eat or exercise correctly and that is why they look worse. I have had two other plastic surgeons tell me there is no more swelling or healing to be done. Any health organization that refuses to have a surgeon available for the follow up visits should not be performing surgery. I explained my concerns; the case manager, who is supposed to handle patient concerns, just read the same script. The lack of empathy was startling.. might have well been talking about a pair of shoes I bought that didn't fit. I don't have the money to have the poor results corrected. I was finally told if I insisted on having a surgeon at the appointment, he would stand there but would NOT talk to me about, or consider, any of my concerns. This organization relies on the fact people wont go onto social media or go public with complaints due to the sensitive nature of their work. I did, only after filing the BBB complaint, receive a call from the ** representative and ask me to let them make it right but only by submitting to their process of useless follow up appointments. Each one takes me out of work for half a day and will not result in anything new. I simply cannot submit to this process after the initial humiliation and dismissal by the office personnel. I also cannot submit myself to additional surgical procedures by an organization who refuses to let you talk to the surgeon post surgery.

Our Practice Manager has attempted to contact her but has not been successful. He had previously spoken to her and informed her she could make an appointment with her surgeon whenever she was ready. She stated she was going to be out of town and would call back after. They had not heard from her since. 

      **************** was also made aware of our Satisfaction Commitment which she signed, our commitment states  We understand that no physician can specifically predict or guarantee the final results with cosmetic procedure. Despite the skilled work of our surgeons and a successful procedure that provides a cosmetic improvement, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and dissatisfaction can occur. Should you find your results to be unsatisfactory, your surgeon would like the opportunity to evaluate your results. If your surgeons evaluation determines your results to be deficient,we will touch up the area at no cost to you.

      On 5/24/23, $3000 was paid to sono bello to hold a procedure date. The required amount was on $2497. On 5/31/23, $9974.50 was paid for a procedure that was supposed to be done on 6/22/23. I notified Sono bello on 6/4/23 that I no longer wanted to go thru with the procedure. I received a response on 6/5/23 that *** (my consultant) would get back to me and she never did. After physically going up to the business on 6/9/23 the receptionist (********) told me that she could finally cancel my preop and procedure appts and *** (my consultant )would call next week when she returned from out of town about my refund. After posting a review on BBB, I received a call from management (******) stating that she would process my refund and it could take up to 7 days. After more than 7 business days (6/23/23) I called back and ****** stated that it could take up to 2 weeks. I spoke with my credit union and they recommended reaching out again because the process doesnt take that long. I called on 6/29/23 and was told by Toy that ****** stated that she already processed my refund and it is just waiting to be released. She then stated that it can honestly take up to 30 days. Each time I call its something different. The company has not issued a refund and I am no closer than day one when I requested my refund!

The reason we don't normally provide proof of accepting the chargeback is because her bank handles the chargeback and notifies her of the outcome. I have attached what we have available to print. As stated earlier we no longer hold any of ******************** funds and we did not provide any medical services to her.

      The Dr. cancelled my surgery and I don't want to reschedule and they will not return my **** deposit they tell me after the fact that my deposit is nonrefunded able. I just want my deposit back.

      I was told by the physician ( *****************) who performed my procedure that he would recommend me for a satisfaction procedure and that someone would be in touch to get it scheduled. I havent been able to get anyone to call or email me back. I have been told by *************************** at the **********, ** office to call and email different people at the ************ facility. Either the individual no longer works there or no one will return my call. ******* has even blocked my emails to her and she has provided me with incorrect emails to the staff at the ************ office as well!

      I like many people fell victim to sono bello. I am a very active person, I workout several times a week, and work in the Healthcare industry. Still, losing fat in my belly seemed impossible all my life. I had the laser lipo done in October of 2021. I had my lower and upper abdomen done, my hips, back, and bra fat. After the 6 month ***** when I was approaching the check up for revision, I noticed there was still alot of fat in those areas. The requirements to be considered for revision are to be below your surgery weight, which I was. I had lost over 10 pounds. There were still areas of fat that I was very dissatisfied with. My hopes to finally look ok in a bikini were crushed. I contacted customer service and voiced my frustrations. I ended up getting a 2nd revision appointment. I was supposed to meet with a different surgeon, but that didn't happen. The original surgeon examined me and informed me that she wouldn't do revision bc it was loose skin and not fat. She said if she did it, it would cause more loose skin. I told them I didn't care, I just wanted the fat gone. I was refused the revision and instead got offered 1 venus ********* that did absolutely nothing. Here we are months later and those areas of fat look even bigger now. I've been to 2 different doctors, and they both said it is not just loose skin. Now im left with less self confidence than I had before the surgery. I paid over $9,000 just to be unsatisfied and disappointed. I wish they would have listened to my concerns and let a different surgeon do the revision.

      I had a procedure done on the 9th , June 11th I experienced hives and itching as well as mild fluid coming out of incision site. I went to the center on the 13th to express my concerns they removed the tape , disregarded the hives and said to take Benadryl and put hydrocortisone on the hives. Come Thursday June 15th no results in the redness , my incision was hot to the touch. I was admitted into the ** with cellulitis I was hospitalized from the *****th on IV antibiotics and still to this day June 21 I am finishing treatment with oral antibiotics.. I was transported via ambulance from the ** to the main hospital for treatment. There are more pictures to come from the day I went into the center on June 13th where they themselves took pictures.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      The lack of compassion and transparency. I came directly to the center in a lot of pain with major redness and itching the blatant disregard to the infection that was clearly there when I pointed out how my incision was leaking green fluid, being told that was normal is incorrect and the lack of responsibility taken. Absolutely nobody reached out to me the day I got admitted into the hospital nobody called to see what was going on and the fact that I had to do this to get a response is unacceptable. My concerns were expressed the day I came in person and everyone there from the head nurse to the Dr ignored my concerns and said everything about what Im dealing with recovery wise is normal when it was not. I put my health and my trust into professionals who told me to take some Benadryl and put some hydrocortisone on it. Cellulitis is a very serious bacterial infection. As for the results of the surgery I understand I am still in the healing process but you can feel and clearly see the remnants of unremoved fat from my right side which is visibly larger then my left side.

      I had my first consultation with *****, and I explained that I had limited time off from work. I signed up for 5 areas of treatment and she told me that all this can be done in one visit. Once I met with the ********************** he said its not healthy for me to do all treatments in one visit. This was a problem and every time I try to contact ***** she did not return my calls or messages left for her. Then I attempt to get the refund for the treatments that was not done. She has ignored my every attempt to contact her.

      on nov 24 I have a invasive liproscropic fat **** from my tummy in wich I paid 7grand for up front my original appointment wasn't for weeks but they called and said can I come early because the had a cancellation, I agreed I fully disclosed all of my minor health issues and was told there would be no complication in fact I was a perfect candidate for this simple procedure skin is tight so no tummy tuck just basic fat removal after 4 kids I had a what I call jelly roll so to be brief what happened over next 3 months after surgery was caused by Sonobello couldn't eat p*** nor did it look much different I was growing more upset due to the fact that I have never experienced this type of continued pain from one of my sites of entry my left flank from day one I was not awake for procedure witch they said I would be then upon first checkup I noticed that nurse noticed something and seemed unsure about hit and refused to say anything after that I weeks later before next appt I suffered a mini stroke family called ambulance blood pressure was out of this world and I have never had any of these problem prior not only that I am now having a full mRI so it can determine if there is a kidney or liver infection or problem either way I also am same weight as before give a few pound unable to eat suffering from serious diegestive problems and hot burning pain at site on left by site of surgery that has never stoped on the exterior I healed fine but my bruising was so severe and when I asked if it was normal I was told yes but that mine was a bit more extreme alll and all I am requesting a full refund for possible damaged internal organs and issue with being able to p*** that have continue I went in healthy and now have expirencing major health issues all at once and I haven't returned due to needing to be seen by endocrinologist radiology emergency room 2 times and all in all still holding weight yet unable to eat full meals want to be refunded 7g for causing and fail to do job

      Thank you for contacting Sono Bello. We are sorry to hear ************************** recovery has not been exceptional. Our Practice Manager contacted **************** after this complaint came in to address her concerns since we were not aware she had any medical complications. **************** no showed to her 3 month check up and the center tried to contact her to reschedule her appointment. She also cancelled a treatment that she had scheduled for April 2023. At no point did she mention having any medical complications, as our consent forms state any medical complications need to be reported immediately so surgeons can be made aware. 

      During her conversation with **************** our Practice Manager tried to obtain information from patient to obtain medical records but **************** did not remember what hospital she went to. **************** stated she would either email them or drop them off. We look forward to reestablishing care with **************** and reviewing her medical records. However, this does not entitle **************** for a post refund as all services were rendered.
