Amazon repeatedly advertises specific delivery dates that they fail to meet. When customers inquire about these discrepancies, customer service representatives claim the dates are mere 'estimates.' However, the advertised dates do not contain any disclaimers indicating they are estimates, which constitutes deceptive advertising.

Subject: Concerns Regarding Amazon Seller Central Impact on Small Businesses and American Entrepreneurship Dear Attorney General, I am writing to express my concerns regarding the findings presented in the issue brief titled "How Amazon Exploits and Undermines Small Businesses, and Why Breaking It Up Would Revive American Entrepreneurship." As a supporter of small business growth and innovation, I believe it is crucial to address the challenges posed by Amazon's current practices. The issue brief highlights several ways in which Amazon's dominance in the marketplace has adversely affected small businesses. These include restrictive policies, unfair competition, and the leveraging of its platform to prioritize its own products over those of independent sellers. Such practices not only stifle competition but also hinder the entrepreneurial spirit that drives economic growth and job creation in our country.Breaking up Amazon could potentially restore a level playing field for small businesses, fostering an environment where innovation and entrepreneurship can thrive. By ensuring fair competition, we can empower small businesses to contribute more significantly to the economy, ultimately benefiting consumers through increased choice and better services.I urge the ********************* to consider these findings seriously and explore measures that would promote fair competition and protect the interests of small businesses. Your leadership in this matter is vital to reviving American entrepreneurship and safeguarding the principles of a free and competitive market.Thank you for your attention to this important issue. I look forward to seeing positive steps taken to address these concerns.

Ordered a dog fence from an Amazon vendor that never arrived, despite a phony tracking number that showed "delivered". Amazon refused to listen to us and didn't care about the tracking number, stating it was "probably in error". Ended up filing complaints with the BBB and ************* of Agriculture and Consumer services. The finally agreed to issue a refund but our ********** STILL hasn't received ANYTHING from Amazon. We tried to close our account but even that is still pending. Been with Amazon for 30 years and this is the worst service I've received from ANY business!

Absolutely fake reviews. If you leave a negative review you are censored. Lately products are garbage so be prepared to return and wait a VERY long time. Amazon is now a joke, fraud and a flea market online

Amazon dominated the market. Thus, its business will be unaffected by this complaint. But I am at least informing it of its wrongdoing before ending the business with it. Amazon requests a government-issued identification proof for a refund. This is unacceptable. Instead of providing such a document, I rather give up the refund and close the account.

Everything was a mess with this order of oat milk. (1) This time, amazon did not email me the delivery notification and the order was standing outside for 7 hours. (2) Tracking said the order was delivered to the front door, where I never saw it, since it was delivered to the garage. (3) The order was packaged poorly, put into an inappropriate box with another order. (4) Therefore, 3 of the 6 carton came damaged. (5) The amazon agent made me provide photo proof of the damaged items. (6) After that, the agent also refused to replace the damaged cartons.

On 5 June 2025 I topped up my amazon balance to make purchases and to my great surprise my account was suspended and then closed with no way of getting it back. **************** was no help at all.

I order from Amazon regularly to get things I can't get locally which is nice when my order gets here when I paid extra for it to get here. I almost always get the earliest delivery option even if I have to pay more and almost every single one of my orders since just after the new year has been delayed at least once. One item, I never even got and they wanted me to return the replacement item after I asked for a refund for the original item. Amazon is making promises to customers that they can't keep. I have had a package delivered with baby items in it and when I opened the box it wreaked of cigarette smoke and made my house smell like smoke. I ordered reading glasses and it looked like someone stomped on the box (luckily my glasses were fine but still). I have no idea how Amazon can continue to do this to customers but they dominate the industry for items that most stores don't carry.

They send me a defective pair of boots, then when I returned them they charged me a $21.05 "damaged item/restocking fee". When I spoke to customer service they were unwilling to help, and when I spoke to a supervisor they told me they were the highest supervisor available. They refused me information on how to contact corporate or their supervisor.
