1 starAbsolutely worst company to ever do business. Did not offer the business services need and when I attempted to move my domain hosting they put a 60 day hold on my account (even though I was still paying the monthly fee)! Upon the 60 day hold my IT department spent more than 150 hours working with GoDaddy! Every time GoDaddy said they had released my domain (tenant), they have not! 5 days for being lied to and hours of being on hold and IT department wasting hours!!!!! They will not give me a refund of any kind nor reimburse me to my teams wasted hours!!!!!!!!!Review fromWilma W

1 starA long time ago this company use to be great. Today, they are terrible. I was given a reduced amount to buy a domain. Now they keep telling me they will look into it, even after I showed documentation from their employee and they keep saying they will call me back the next day at noon. No call ever happens. I called tonight for the third time this week (it's only Monday) and they keep you on hold forever then after verifying myself several times, they refuse to get a supervisor for me to speak with. Also, it appears that they have ported all of their calls offshore to people that barely speak the English language. I am selling off all my domains with them and going to their competitor to do business. Godaddy is dead in the game now. Godaddy is more like GoodbyeReview fromFRED N

1 starAfter getting set up with them many years ago and not being able to get out due to their very complicated methods of controlling their customer accounts....this company has been bad for many years,...and has now reached new heights of deception and misleading business practices to imprison their accounts to their services. I have never signed on to their "AUTO-RENEW" option because I simply don't trust them as they can auto-renew you into new costs and services without you getting a chance to review them ahead of time and you just get charged and locked in. Well, somone in the "dumb trust" decided well lets just switch these "auto-renewals" on for those accounts who don't have this activated and force them to call us and show them what the renewal for 1 year will be at some new "SKY HIGH" cost....that will get them to call us and then when they call, we'll give them some new offer for a longer term at a lower price. So this happens....under huge pressure from their ******** CALL CENTER PERSON "Major" and I realize a few days later, that 3 of the products really did not not need to be renewed at all, and I could acually cancel them. So I go into my account and cancel them and request a refund for these and THEY OUTRIGHT decline to issue the refund saying it was not in their "7 DAY PERIOD" for cancelling a renewal, it was the "8th DAY"...!!! I get onto calls and emails and all the same....completely uncooperative even though their "******** REP....never once mentioned in our many calls there was a new 7 DAY - NON CANCELLATION policy.....saying I a 20 year cliet should have read their agreement before renewing while all under extreme pressure from them. Made a formal claim, same behaviour, form letter reply....I am ready to just pack it in with these guys....completely unhelpful, unsupportive, very complicated (intentionally) account mgt platform and just plain deceptive. Rather lose some money than continue to be abused. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE GODADDY!!!!!

1 starI wish I could give negative stars. I called to cancel my very expensive WordPress on Sept 6, 2025 and was assured it would be handled; I was told it would take 7-10 business days for the refund to hit my account. I waited 10 days and went to check: NOTHING. I called, texted, chatted, called, called, chatted, texted and NO ONE WOULD HELP ME to get the refund. It was ONE DAY PASSED THE REFUND DAY when I called to ask about my ********* NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I have had the worst customer service. Asked multiple times for supervisors to call me back and NOTHING. They took my webpage down, erased WordPress and NO REFUND.

1 starStay far, far away from this company. Once upon a time, they seemed competent but now theyve devolved into yet another bloated corporation thats forgotten what customer service even means. Their so-called representatives couldnt think for themselves if their script disappeared, and they treat loyal customers like suspicious intruders.Ive been with this company since 2018, and the decline is almost impressive. Endless security questions, robotic responses, and absolutely no accountability. Funny how theyre lightning-fast when it comes to charging for upgrades, yet utterly incapable of delivering on even the simplest promises.Frankly, theyve become too big for their own good and it shows.

1 starThe people here are horrible! Three weeks ago I set up an account and linked it to my bank so I could receive payments from just a handful of trusted clients. I only accepted one credit card transaction yesterday afternoon at 5pm and today I was deactivated without a real reason why. They said I'm not allowed to use their app because I am offering services not allowed on their selling platform. I am a licensed reiki master, sound healer and professional tantra educator and their team treated me like a criminal and promptly deactivated me like a criminal. I had intended to purchase a website using their platform for reiki and sound healing but now I never will because of their unethical treatment and lack of good customer service. Your calls will be forwarded to a call center in different countries outside of ***************** ???? and you will receive the run around and a letter from their company stating your account is not eligible. I have learned from my mistakes and hope my very bad experience will help other people

1 starI am so upset by GoDaddy. Their marketing calendar does not work either social sites. And today they took my site down for maintenance. I told them today that my work order was to be withdrawn. The site is offline. And they wont put it up on line immediately. So I have zero visibility. And the run around is incredible. Hours and hours and get nowhere. The worst there is. I need my site up but they took it down and are dragging their feet getting it online. Very terrible customer support because they really dont care. Just get my site up and online please !!!!

1 starI had a GoDaddy Ecommerce Store for years, then ended my business in May 2024 but re-started it a couple of months ago. I chose GoDaddy again because of the positive experience I had with them before. Let me tell you, their service is awful, I have been lied to and the representatives are not on the same page. My store has major problems and they are telling me that I'm going to have to re-upload product which will take me hours. Oh, and by the way I was told that I hadn't done anything wrong but if I will pay more money they will fix it! Do Not go with GoDaddy! In the 3 months I was with them I talked to customer service **** multiple times because of problems.
