1 starI had car shield and my transmission went out they wanted me to pay for everything and maybe they would reimburse me. If I could pay for it my self why would I need car shield to start with. BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER. They didn't pay for rental car like they said they would, didn't pay for towing like they said they would didn't pay for repairs like they said they would. 1 starMy air in my 2014 Jeep Patriot went out. I needed a new
compressor. Been car shield customer since 2019. At that time I was told
this would be covered. Bill was 1100 dollars. Car shield paid 600. I
was told through Caitlin it was because I didn’t use their compressor.
It was not explained to me I had to use car shield car parts. A mechanic
is not going to warranty an outside part like that. When I first looked
into car shield back in 2019 this was not mentioned. I did ask all
questions and received nothing but lies Lies Oh nothing to worry
about. We have your back is what I was told

1 starI am so disappoint in this company. I was advised several times that my diagnostic was covered and I could take my car in. So while a the dealer ship I checked again before I had the service.So once the service was done. The dealership called and stated that car shield and ******************** stated it was not covered and now I'm liable for $195.00. I would not have taken my car in for a diagnostic had the service not been covered. Several reps from car shield told me diagnostic and recalls are covered under my plan. Now they stating it was not covered. Now i can not get my care out because I do not have the money.CarShield

1 starI took my vehicle to an approved dealer for a transmission leak. A a new customer i wasn't aware that they had to be called before the repair. The car is still at the repair shop and Car shield denied the claim. What a waste of money. I will have to cancel my subscription. VERY DISAPPOINTED FOR AN HONEST MISTAKECarShield

1 starI've been paying into this company for 3 years and when I needed to get my car repaired, I thought I only had to pay the deductible but I ended up paying over $500.00 out of pocket for a covered repair. This company is a rip off.
