      My boyfriend and I had moved into a home back in March, ever since then we have had nothing but complete issues. We had a gas leak in the home that had to bring out the fire **** and spire, the maintenance man literally only tapped where the leak was and told us we were good to go. As the days moved on we noticed that none of our windows open, I had contacted Main Street numerous times. Main street did send someone to come look at the windows and they had advised us multiple times that the windows all need to be replaced but main street will not do it. I did get the city involved along with my attorney who advised the windows are a must and had to be open in order for the home to be livable . We have been living in this home for 3 months now and our windows still do not open. I had advised them that we have kids in the home and if the windows do not open when there is a fire they better have one **** good attorney, I kept being told they understood and will expedite this situation. On our home portal we keep getting eviction charges when WE ARE NOT EVEN EVICTED our rent is paid every month. This is truly the worst company I have ever dealt with. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      I was a resident with MSR in ******* for almost 3 years but then I qualified to own a home. The rent was paid on time and we were the ideal tenants. We provided adequate notice when moving out and even left the home cleaner than what we received it. However, MSR kept our security deposit and charged us for pre-existing damages. These damages were well documented in the move-in conditions form and pictures were even taken but MSR refused to give us our entire security deposit back. Instead, they sent a check for $319.50 which was not deposited. I have been contacting them since May 14, 2024 and no one has responded to my numerous emails & calls. We feel deceived and conned out of our deposit which was $1320. We plan to move forward with filing a lawsuit against MSR to obtain our security deposit back. This has been the worst experience ever with a rental agency and I would not recommend anyone to rent with Mainstreet Renewal.

      The worst rental company Ive ever dealt with.Air works on and off since April 2024 not at all now.Been asking them to fix the problem. Not yet fixed. So disappointed,and HOT.A star rating its a 0 zero.

      Hi,My wife and I have been tenants with MS ********************** since summer of 2022. The original house we rented with them had its fair share of problems/issues, however, we were able to have most of those resolved albeit not without there own issues that accompanied the original issues.Fast forward to now our second rented home with MS ********************** and it has been nothing but a nightmare. We notified MS ********************** of multiple issues pertaining to filth, mold, and a slew other other issues when we toured and applied for the home. Due to being a previous tenant we were forced to terminate our other expiring lease agreement a month before it was to expire and could only get **1** week of overlap. That gave us exactly one week to get moved and perform maintenance, repairs, and clean up at our other home we were leaving.Again, I'd like to remind that we had given the **************** and leasing team prior notice to a multitude of issues before we moved in. If need be we have names and receipts to provide if needed or asked of. Que the day of our move in, the codes we were given to get the keys and access there keypad were wrong taking additional time that we could not waste to just access the home. Upon accessing the home we found it filthy, damaged, and in desperate need of maintenance and cleaning. There was filth/substances all over the home and visible leak/water damage and MOLD in the laundry and BUILD UP on the vents which majority of the vents are broken.The laundry room has been addressed, however, a number of other maintenance issues have been neglected since we have notified them. The vents are as they were described, a broken window pane, and faulty electrical outlets in the bathrooms and exterior of the home.We've accommodated this atrocious vendors and MS ********************** to be available for these repairs/vendors with most failing to make appointments or showing up for something entirely unrelated. We were told we are to be prorated rent until issues are fixed. Its day 23

      Beware of Main Street Renewal! Even if you have an issue and are successful in court, they don't pay. I was awarded a judgment over $8000 for expenses incurred due to their unit being uninhabitable with septic issues the day I moved in on June 6, 2023. I had to get an attorney and take them to court. I was finally awarded the judgment on February 1, ************************************* What an awful experience! All I wanted to do was rent a nice home. I feel like I'm being bullied by a large conglomerate. I'm told that even though awarded I still have to pursue them for collections. This is a huge company with likely 100's of properties under management in ******* alone.Case: *************** ** 23 - M - *****

      This company is allowing a family to live without clean water and septic. Theyre allowing a family to live in a home full of mold while they have a contaminated well. Their children have gone to the hospital every week over the past month and a half for pink eye and ear infections. They are having breathing problems in their home. Main street renewal is a negligent rental company that should be shut down by the federal government.

      Hello, my name is ********. Run from this company!!!! In 2023. During the snowstorm of last year in 2023 in December. A neighbor from behind my home had a tree that fell off onto our powerline onto the home . Due to the power outage and bad wiring in the home the refrigerator and stove went out as well. When the maintenance man came out, they told me that the house needed to be rewired because the wires were bad. And no one has came to fix that or even tried to come look at it. I am a single mother of four children so not having a refrigerator and stove is very important in the household. Also, due to the bad wiring in the home, there was two outlets that caught fire from the inside that had to be replaced. One was replaced on my own, and the other one was replaced by maintenance that I still have, So we were not able to stay in the home from December 27 until around mid March My insurance adjuster contacted Main Street to see if they were able to drop the rent off due to the fact that we were not able to live in the home around that time. They informed me that they did not deem that as being a reason to not be able to stay in the home. Even though it was below temperature in December 2023 into around February 2024.. I was forced to go stay in hotels and family members homes until the situation got fixed which was not until mid March 2024. Since we were not staying in the home, I did not pay my half of the rent because it is considered in habitable.Soon after we came back home, someone broke into my home and broke out the bedroom window in my room. Its still not fixed after 2 1/2 months. None of my windows have locks on them. Some are even slightly broken open. . , they are trying to evict us for back rent, even though they are communicating with my insurance claim adjuster. A told me that they would work it out. They are trying to charge me for section 8 portion of the rent which is illegal. This place is horrible and they do not care about anybody but money.

      I wanted to give a good review, but after finding out that it is going to take almost 2 months to get my security deposit back, and no one even explaining to me what I am being charged for, I cant do that. Especially when we could not clean/empty our home properly because someone was told we had vacated the property and they STOLE things from our home. We got lucky and got in touch with the gentleman that did the inspection, and he returned the items but not before we had to be out of the home. We have been out of the home for almost a month!! The refund process should not take this long! We always paid our rent on time. We should get the same courtesy of getting our refund back on time. Especially since in the State of GA it is legally supposed to be back in our hands within 30 days of move out! I better be getting as much money as I put in back in my deposit after all of this! This company does not care about you! And you can never speak to the same person when calling in, so it makes it that much more difficult to even speak to someone! Not to mention during our time in the home, we were without water for 3 days due to a leak we didnt know where it was coming from and it was travelling into the basement into my sons light fixture which is a hazard in itself but they didnt seem to care.

      Renting from them has been an absolute nightmare . The move in process and moving out process is unorthodox . I spoke with several employees about receiving our security deposit and they refused to give the proper amount because according to their records the house wasn't vacant until one of their representative came by after our lease ended. Even thought I sent them documentation that we were no longer in the home . If you can avoid renting with them please do . They deserve no stars.

      Disgusted with this company. Between the filth, toilet not working, trees falling in the back yard and black mold the worst is that this company doesn't care. No response from them. They never call back. They stick you with a contract and never show up. If i were to define this company with one word it would be unethical.
