      WORST rental company EVER! should be considered a slum lord. It has some of the worst reviews Ive ever seen and we unfortunately had to rent quickly out of state and fell into the their trap. They are misleading in their listings and leases. Their property is disgusting and not properly maintained. MANY Code violations ( my husband is in construction). This company should be fined and dismantled.

      If you come across a rental managed by Mainstreet Renewal, save yourself and run! My partner put a hold deposit on a property listed for an early **** move in at the beginning of May. Four days ahead of the scheduled move in he gets a text saying things are on track for his move in date. Two days later he gets a text (because you cannot speak to an actual leasing agent everything is via text) saying the move in date is now two weeks from the original date. When he inquired as to why they ghosted him. He gave it a couple of days, then again sent a text saying he had ?s about the property he was supposed to rent, they responded right away asking what the address was, he provided, they asked how they could help and he text back right away again inquiring as to why the move in date had been pushed back, why he received conflicting texts days apart and mentioned that he had appointments scheduled as you do when moving and nothingcricketsno response or explanation just ghosted again. Fast forward, the second scheduled move in date comes and theres no word from anyone. Two days later he receives another text stating that the home is now on track for a July move in. ***! How could they possibly think this is acceptable and without apology or explanation of any kind. Im just grateful he was able to stay with me during this transition but what if someone who didnt have friends or family or another place stay had run into this situation??? Theyd be homeless and Mainstreet obviously didnt care about how they might be inconveniencing him or what pushing things back would cause because they wouldnt even have a conversation with him. Such a horrible experience and I dont wish this for anyone else, invest your money elsewhere and rent with literally anyone else other than Mainstreet.

      Overall, my experience with Main Street Renewal has been positive. I've been a tenant for 4 years. over that time I've had several maintenance requests - and they've been handled in a relatively timely manner. My only frustration has been that the *** will provide a reminder notice and Main Street Renewal will charge me as if the reminder was an actual citation or violation. I will be moving out in a few months, perhaps I will update this review depending on how well the move out experience goes.

      The maintenance team has done excellent work fixing the problems that have existed since before I moved in. One alarming oversight for me personally was not having any warning that the carport door could easily flood into the living room if the rain was bad enough. The gate to the backyard has to stay open so the water can flow the right way or I have a lake in my house. It is terrifying and not being notified was kind of negligent. Besides this fact, and pest control somehow being the renters' responsibility, the team has been excellent with taking care of all concerns thusfar. Overall this is a great home and I like this neighborhood a lot. I could stay with Main Street Renewal for years if things keep progressing as they have been. Thank you MS ********************** for working with me on my time constraints as far as maintenance visits have gone lately. It doesn't go unnoticed and a little flexibility can make very happy tenants. Thanks again.

      One star is honestly too many, were concerned homeowners on the same street as a MSR property and dealing with them has been an absolute nightmare . Last year a tree fell on the home while it was vacant and they left the damaged roof unprotected for weeks. Its doubtful they even fixed the water damage. Now their new tenant is using the house for god knows what purposes . First off theres no furniture in the house . Multiple cars come and go , carrying in bags, coming out with different bags . It reeks of pot anytime they are in the yard, the cars block homeowners driveways, theyve even taken to parking on the lawn, with their car halfway into the neighbors property. Its only a matter of time before the situation becomes dangerous. Main Street renewal says theres nothing they can do

      Psima compaa tengo 2 meses de haberme mudado a la residencia y *** no estaba lista para la mu***za con suciedad por todos lados daos en la puerta principal de la propiedad a los 3 das tuvimos problemas con el drenaje de los baos tardaron 5 das en resolver ese problema luego volvimos a tener el mismo problema y no se tardaron 3 das sin poder usar los baos ni la **** ahora tengo problemas con el aire acondicionado *** una fecha de visita y no la cumplen tengo ** de 5 das sin aire acondicionado con dos nios en La propiedad cuando llamo me aseguran que van a venir a arreglar el problema y no vienen les llam para informar porque no haban cumplido con su fecha de mantenimiento y solo saben decir lo sentimos por el problema que est presentando y no hacen nada para resolverle al residente son la peor compaa que puede existir en cuestin de mantenimiento psimo servicio al cliente

      I have been renting from Main Street Renewal since February 13, 2025. I don't have any complaints. I put in a request for a maintenance issue. The thermostat wasn't working properly for the A/C and a technician was sent out the following day. He fixed the A/C unit and changed out the thermostat. The technician called before he arrived. He introduced himself when he arrived and conducted himself in a very professional manner the entire time. So far I'm well pleased with my decision to rent from Main Street Renewal.

      When my roommates and I were moving into a main street renewal home we turned the water on and immediately we noticed a pipe leak as the floor in the garage and living room started to flood. it took main street quite a long time to send someone out to fix the leak, long enough for mold to begin to grow and leave damage that needed a renovation crew to come out and fix. No renovation crew was ever sent to fix it however. The house was unlivable and they started to be unresponsive not allowing us to break our lease. STAY AWAY FROM MAINSTREET RENEWAL!!!

      So far the experience has not been great. We moved in 1 week ago and the house was NOT move in ready. Very dirty, broken cabinets, clogged sink, leaking roof, and the backyard was a disaster. Also, we pay $150 a month for pool cleaning (included in the rent) and the pool has obviously not been cleaned in weeks/months. Weve put in work orders for all of the above listed items. So far they fixed the cabinet (3 days) and they sent a cleaner (5 days) they have not fixed the leaking roof, or the pool issue. I cleaned up the backyard and fixed the sink drain myself. Ive called multiple times and they basically say were working on it with no estimate as to when the issues will be fixed. Going to have to get a lawyer involved soon because Im not paying $150 a month for pool maintenance if they wont send anyone out here to look at it. Also I wouldnt let them manage my property because the roof leak has been going on for months from the look of it and they dont seem to feel any urgency to fix it before further damage occurs. Also, their customer service system is not very user friendly. Its extremely difficult to talk to a real person. I do not recommend this company. Look elsewhere.
