      On December 15 2022 I applied for credit through Progressive leasing. On December 18 I placed an order with one of Progressives shoppers help when the fridge got delivered I learned that it was a 20.5 cubic foot fridge I remember telling him on the phone during the order that I needed an 18 cubic foot fridge. So I called Progressive they told me to call Lowes. So I did and Lowes brought out the right one. I called Progressive back and another Rep said this would be made right for me that I would get the HInsen fridge at the sales price of 649.00 and the rebate for it of 75.00 briniging the price down to 574.00. Now Progressive is telling me they wont help me that its lowes problem.

      On December 15 2022 I called to let them know that the wrong ****** was delivered. That I told the Progressive shopper that I needed an 18 cubic foot fridge. He went ahead and ordered me a **** cubic foot Frigidare. I had to call Lowes after talking to Progressive to get the correct size deliviered. I ended up with a HIsense 18 cubic foot refridgerator. So after that I contacted Progressive leasings corporate office. I was told that the ***** and the ***** would be refunded. And that because of the mix up they would put an ***** credit towards the Hisense. The ***** credit was applied to the Frigidare. I have attached the lease agreement which shows that they are having me pay for the frigidare and also the amounts that I was talking about. The ***** was not to be credited to the frigidare lease it was to be credited to the new lease for the Hisense

       

      Desired Outcome: I want my money back from the original lease. And the ***** Credited to the new Lease for the Hisense

      I had a lease with Progressive Leasing two years ago for a Mac computer, but I couldn't afford the payments anymore, so I returned the item. I tried to apply for a lease the following year, but I was denied without reason. Progressive would give me constant excuses, like saying because the previous lease wasn't removed from my account was why I could create another one. To this day, the lease I had two to three years ago has not been removed from my account after several calls. I tried to apply for a loan this past holiday season, even gave them the banking information they asked me, but never got a response until I called for an update. The representative said told me that I denied and that was the final decision without any explanation again. I feel like there's retaliation in regard to the last loan I had which is leading into borderline discrimination with prejudice.

      I have had a lease with this company for several months now and no matter how many times I have tried to contact them they have not been able to get me successfully connected to my online account so I can manage it. I have attempted a password reset at least a dozen times and no matter what I am still told I have the incorrect password. I am beginning to think that they do not want me to be able to manage my account and possibly pay it off early.

      They overcharged my account over $700 by opening 2 accounts when there should have only been one opened initially. Spoke with 4 different reps stating their was a refund to hit my checking account in 10 days. Nothing happened they couldn't even tell me what account they processed it too. I want my money immediately.

      I made a down payment of ***** to Progressive leasing for an order at overstock and the order was canceled Progressive said I would get a refund back in ***** business days never got the refund and now Progressive leasing wants a cancelation # from overstock and overstock tells me they have no cancelation # for me so I guess I'm just out *****

      I received an "approval" from this company not a "preapproval". I received a congratulations email and it explained the steps to make my purchase through wayfair. When I went to complete my purchase and it keep telling me my debit card was declined and there is/was ***** in my account. So, I called the company and was on hold for over and hour and I was told I need to email a copy of my driver's license and ****** bank statement. I explained I was approved and the email didn't request additional information nor did I get a separate email requesting information. I reluctantly sent the requested information. My checking shows a large running balance and has for the 90 days they requested. I was told I would have an answer in 30 minutes, I didn't receive any calls or emails. I called the next day and they said they didn't receive the email, I explained I have confirmation you did. So, I resent it, called back again and they said they couldn't use the checking account I need a "real bank". I said that is a real bank FDIC insured, I've never heard of a fake bank. So, I sent a ************ statement, I explained don't use that account they said that was fine and then I called again for an answer they said we can't approve it with this statement there is no direct deposit, I said I told you that this morning. He said no worries I said no worries you just declined to follow through with your original approval and he hung up on me. He name was **** the review rep.

      On Saturday December 3,2022 I initiated an application (id# ********* for Progressive Leasing for Best Buy and my initial payment of $63.42 was withdrawn from my checking account. On Sunday December 4, 2022 I was notified by my bank NFCU that my account had been overdrawn. I was charged $63.42 from Progressive Leasing as well as $768.59 directly from Best Buy for the contract. On Tuesday December 6, 2022 I contacted Progressive Leasing to inquiry why was I charged the initial scheduled payment and the full contract (cash amount). The representative confirmed that contract was cancelled but unsure of why and she directed me to Best Buy for further assistance. I contacted Best Buy was transferred multiple times to be transferred to rep and I was informed that I needed to speak with Progressive Leasing regarding the Best Buy charges. I contacted Progressive Leasing and a helpful rep asked that I sent my bank transactions to **************************** and I he confirmed receipt. I was then transferred to ********* and he advised me that I wasnt charged by Progressive leasing and I disputed that and I asked for a manager, he advised me that he was my last option and can offer me a callback and I declined and I requested the corporate number and he placed me on hold only to advise me that he had a manager available and his name was ******. I asked ****** for the corporate number and address the call was disconnected.

      I Caucasian female secretary from this establishment wrongly put in my information and my card she said was declined for insufficient funds and I have over $11,000 in my account as shown below and she refused to send me to a supervisor . I am demanding .

      Used progressive leasing to purchase a tv stand from Big lots with the intention of paying off in 90 days however no one explains to you that the only way to use the 90 day pay off is by calling them and the hold time is in excess of 30 minutes!! I was on hold for 38 minutes and they dropped my call. I feel this is done on purpose to get more money out of their customers- they don’t want you to pay it off in 90 days or else they’d let you do it online like every other company in existence. This is poor business practice and misleading as they lead you to believe that paying off early is easy when it is not easy when someone works full time and can not be glued to a phone on hold. I’ve called back several times and the hold time is always an excessive amount and seeing that this is the ONLY way to get the 90 day promo it feels unfair. No one has time in their day to stay on hold that long and the company must know this and simply not care because they make more money by people not using the 90 day promo. They also only give you 89 days but none of that matters if you can’t speak to a person anyway

      In August, 2022 I bought dining room table, chairs and bench from Ashley Furniture using progressive leasing. The down payment was $52.92 which was deducted from my debit card. I was to receive all of the items in September. I got chairs and bench, was told table would be in October. I said ok. 2 weeks went by and Ashley stated it would be December… At that time I told them to cancel because I was without anywhere to eat in my home… and needed a table sooner. Progressive said ok. Ashley refunded progressive after I sent back all the items I received before receiving the table. Progressive said I was not responsible for the it’ items any longer but will not refund my down payment of $52.92. They are cheating me out of my money. What a rip off and I’ll never use progressive leasing or Ashley furniture again. Progressive leasing owes me. I don’t know who else to turn to. Thank you.
