      Progressive Leasing is a finance company that allows you to purchase merchandise at any of the stores that accept or partner with Progressive Leasing. I have used this company for over two years and have never had an issue, but most recently they denied an application of mine, and requested more information such as a copy of my SS Card, ********************** Records, and even Pay-statements, after their review, they issued me an email stating I was denied. The emails states that I would get an Adverse Action Letter in the mail, but I never got one. I called and let them know I never got a letter nor a reason as to why I was denied. They said they would request a letter to go out in the mail. I waited several weeks and never got a letter. They keep stating that they're not required to give me a reason and that I can re-apply on the future. The Reference Number is ********

      Progressive Leasing is charging ****% interest to lease furniture through their company which is excessive. ****, the sales rep at Five Star Furniture, told me I could purchase my furniture interest-free for 90 days, so I took advantage of the offer. I purchase the furniture on 10/8/2022 and the original balance w/tax was $2025.00. I called the **** number (customer service) to get the payoff amount and was told it would be $2111.00. This seems like an excessive amount of interest and makes no sense. I have already paid $1400 of the $2025.00 original balance and I wish to pay off the balance early before the 12 months expire. Why do I still owe $2111.00? I did not receive a notification from Progressive Leasing that the 90-day interest-free offer was about to expire or that the deadline for paying off the balance interest-free was fast approaching. As a result, I am willing to close the account for $1100.00.

      I am writing to bring to your attention some issues that I have encountered with your company's widget on the Best Buy checkout page and with information provided by employees. Firstly, I have found that the checkout/contract section is often non-functional. I've made several attempts at a payment only for the card to be denied. I have not only confirmed that there are sufficient funds, but my financial institution indicates that none of the payments I am attempting are presenting. This was also an issue in October/November of 22. The only difference is the Progressive Associate completed the process on the backend. This has caused frustration and delays in me trying to complete my purchase. I believe that superb customer experience is crucial for a positive customer experience and for conducting business efficiently. Additionally, I have received inconsistent information from employees regarding my next steps. Last week I was advised that it would be completed by the associate and I would be getting a correspondence from Best Buy with confirmation. This was similar to my experience last year. After three business days and no correspondence from the merchant as advised by the Progressive rep I called Progressive to confirm the action taken. During this time it was explained to me that I would need to go into the store to complete the transaction. This has resulted in confusion and additional time spent trying to resolve the issue. I believe that clear and consistent communication from employees is essential in providing a positive customer experience and maintaining the company's credibility. I would appreciate it if you could address these issues and take the necessary steps to finalize without the need to go in store as I am out of town.

      I have attached both the Best But return receipt for the laptop and headshot and the proof of delivery for the diamond three stone ring and band return to Kay jewelers. I will keep this complaint open until I receive full reimbursement for my returns. Progressive Leasing has claimed they mailed me a paper check for the Best Huy return. I do appreciate it. But I am not satisfied until I receive full reimbursement for all the items I returned. It is only fair. Thank you **** *****

      Recently I paid off a 12 month lease aggreement for $101.26 or so I thought. I received a new bank account and was updating information online. The account showed $101.26 was the remaining balance as of 2/3/23. There was a payment scheduled for 2/4/23, however, the account never showed the payment was processing with the bank so I just paid the remaining balance under my new card information. I received an email showing the account was paid in full along with a payment posting to my bank account on 2/3/23. On 2/7/23, I recieved an email that a payment "bounced back" and said I still owed $114.71 on the account. I called progessive leasing and I was told the "$***** payment was scheduled for 2/4/23 so the account reflected a payment as if it was already paid on 2/3/23" The rep explained that I paid the payoff amount " based on an honor that your bank would pay". I questioned the inent due to the fact that the account showed on 2/3/23 the remaining balance for early purchase was on $101.26. It did not say anything such as "the $101.26 is the purchase payment based on the 2/4/23 payment due" or something to that nature. I asked repeatedly why was the account updated before an acutal payment was made by the bank? and neither the rep nor the supervisor could provide me with an adequate anwser. It is very misleading to the consumer because I decided to pay the account off early based on what the account showed. It did not state the payment began processing on 2/3 nor did I get any email stating so. I should not be responsible to pay an additional amount based on the account updating BEFORE an acutal payment was made. I am going to make the payment that they say I owe, however I want a refund of the ***** due to misleading information on their end. I have attached the paid in full letter to this request.

      I was approved by Progressive Leasing to lease a sofa. I have made all of my payments for the last six months and nothing has ever been wrong. Last week I decided I was going to pay it off. The amount left was $777.34. When I go to pay it off, that amount has now increased to $853.98. I called customer service to see what they were going to do about this and they let me know that there was nothing they could do. I then told to lady on the phone that the last person I spoke with told me the early pay off balance was 60% of the remaining balance. I was told this a few months back. The lady then proceeds to tell me it is actually 65%. So, I was lied to about this from someone. I am not sure which customer service agent lied. But, even if it was 65%, how did the balance due grow from $777.34 to $853.98 in a weeks time when the total due decreases? I am concerned they are adding hidden fees or either adding to the end total. My contract says my total payments would be $2,264.37. The system is now showing that I have paid $1,033.63 and have a remaining balance of $1,313.81. If you add those two amounts, you come up with $2,347.44. That is $83.07 more than what my contract says my total payments would be.Not only is this unethical, I find the customer service abhorrent. The lady that I was speaking to the second time said she would be right back and just sent me to a voicemail. I want to pay this account off this week, but do not feel as if I should pay more than what my contract and the system told me last week.

      I've been paying Progressive Leasing for almost a year on a laptop that was originally $300 to purchase outright. Through Progressive Leasing, they've doubled the cost and employed deceptive business practices to give me additional fees. Their website often doesn't work and there's a lack of customer service, so they can charge customers extra as a result. They are a userous company that preys on those without the income to pay for *********** front.

      I was in a rehab center for over a year and did not have my phone or wallet my wallet was taken when I was in there and I had lots of fraud on all my accounts so I had to get new id and cards and they asked for me to send them a police report. Which I did was on the phone for about 2 hours then they said they have been calling me but I just got this phone and number but they said they dont have a number on file I just barely got a letter that is how I knew about this account they said they denied the account before they got the police report and they was very rude and would not help and they wanted me to pay for something j dont have

      On January 20th 2022 I submitted a pay off amount. Total for my loan it was **** and said it would process in 3-5 business days. Come to find out January 24th Progressive did something with the payment and now telling me I owe **** I just want to pay off the original amount I submitted I want to just pay off the right amount for my Loan

      I was on my last payment to pay off my account early within the 3 month. Not a single late payment. This is my 3rd account Ive paid off early never missed a payment always had it deducted from my account weekly with no problems. I called back in December to make arrangements to pay off my lease within the 3 months they mention my last payment to be around the holidays witch i agreed. Come January 20th I see they are still charging me so I called them and they mention that my last payment bounced there was no reason my payment would bounce since there was funds. But they were able to charge a bounce fee of 27$ after?! The girl I talked to was asking me if I could pay the renaming balance witch was paying it off all over again. Witch I obviously stated that I was not going to pay all over because of someone elses mistake. I stated I would be willing to pay the last payment but nothing more as I had already payed closed to 1k. At this point they has already charged me 45$ for the weekly fee and 27$ for the bounce fee. I expressed to her that I didnt receive a call or an email from them regarding a missed/bounce payment. She said the best she could do was 498$ half of the remaining balance. I told her that was not good enough as I had always had no problems paying their weekly amounts. If I had defaulted on prior payments they would been harassing me and making sure I paid but since it was my last payment they wanted to reinstate all payments all over again. They would get paid double the money from me. This is completely unprofessional on their part. I honored my agreement but they wont on their end.
